A single ideal coastal day, planned the way we would plan it

The hour-by-hour arc of a resort day we would craft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Tweak it as you wish.

A single ideal coastal day, planned the way we would plan it

07:00 · Quiet swim

The pool sits empty and towel service has not begun. A coffee cart waits by the entrance with single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no line. That half hour is the finest of the day.

08:30 · Terrace breakfast

Eggs to order, pastries fresh from the kitchen oven, a modest plate of seasonal fruit. We reject breakfast buffets. We favour plates carried by waiters who have looked after the same families for ten years.

10:00 · Spa or sea

Either choice works. The spa hammam stays bright and hushed in the morning. The sea is at its calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; a few manage both.

13:30 · Long lunch

Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you had not planned to order. No phones, no hurry. This is the meal that stays with you.

18:00 · Golden hour terrace

Aperitif on the upper deck. By the second day the bar team will know your name. The house negroni rests on a vermouth we make on-site; it remains the most unexpected pour on the property.

21:00 · Tasting menu

Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. Years went into shaping this evening. We trust it rewards the journey.

23:30 · A short hour at the table

Or an unhurried walk back to the suite. Either path: tomorrow opens at 07:00 with a swim, and the rhythm is the whole idea.
